Pilates
PILATES
Pilates is a system of corrective exercise developed by Joseph Hubertus Pilates in the early 1920's. Pilates is a full body system for everyone that helps to reconnect the mind and body for improvements in coordination, strength, mobility, motor control, efficiency, posture, and physical performance. It is unparalleled in its ability to identify and address weakness in core strength and stability. In the hands of a comprehensively trained Pilates teacher, this work can be used for the development of an exercise program unique to each client for the rehabilitation of injury and/or the optimization of physical performance.
Private Sessions
A one on one movement experience that is 100% about what your body uniquely needs. This service is for anyone who would like an individualized program designed for their body and their activities to improve their physical health, performance, and function. It is also a proactive way for you to identify potential areas of musculoskeletal imbalance and unhealthy movement patterns that will lead to injury or loss of function in the future. With the knowledge and experience of a comprehensively certified Pilates teacher clients can rest assured that their programs are anatomically accurate, safe, and effective.
Duet
An opportunity for two clients to work together with one Pilates instructor. Duet sessions are focused on partnership and fun and will be designed to address the mutual goals of both participants. Participants will be responsible for finding their own Pilates partners. It is encouraged that participants consider strength, flexibility, and level of experience when choosing a partner. When done 2-3 times each week these sessions deliver visible and lasting results.
Trio
Uniquely designed and scheduled by request and will focus on a selected group interest or event. Gather 2 of your friends (3 people total) and let your teacher know what focus you want your class to have. There are endless options. Perhaps you want it to be sport- specific to enhance your golf game, climbing, equestrian riding, biking, running, or skiing? A trio class is also a great experience to incorporate into a special day whether it be a day out with friends, a corporate retreat, or your wedding day. Whatever the situation, this is an opportunity to bring some wellness, creativity, and fun into your life in a unique way that is 100% focused on you.
Small Group Pilates Classes
Small group classes will include 3-4 participants and involves the use of the Pilates Universal Reformer, towers, and/or small props. Group classes, when compared to a private session will incorporate more flow, rhythm, and a thread of continuity to the Pilates repertoire. These classes have set times on each teacher’s daily schedule. Reservations are recommended.
